The area attracts white-collar working professionals with families.  The area is considered Farragut and most of this area is zoned for Farragut schools.   Along with Farragut, this area of farmland has been heavily developed over the past ten years, but still maintains a country atmosphere.  Northshore / Choto has a country and suburban feel comprising mainly of newer subdivisions of brick 2-story single family homes.  The area is surrounded by waterways, parks and greenways.  Well known Turkey Creek shopping complex is only a 7 minute drive and it's proximity to Kingston Pike allows for easy access to all the shopping conveniences.

Northshore/Choto gets its name from the 2 roads that intersect together - Northshore Dr. and Choto Rd.
